About the Project
Shift Advantage provided an array of strategies and tools to reduce the environmental footprint of manufacturing commercial jetliners.
Approach:
We provided Design for Environment (DfE) research and analysis, including investigating solutions and innovations within the airline industry as well as outside the industry. We then developed recommendations and trainings customized to fit the unique needs of Boeing’s design, development, and engineering processes.

Results:
Shift Advantage provided top management, engineers, and designers an array of strategies and tools to reduce the environmental footprint of manufacturing commercial jetliners while balancing traditional design considerations (e.g. cost, quality, safety, security, functionality, and performance).
